Sambhar Masala
Sambhar masala is a spice blend used in Indian cuisine to make sambhar, a traditional South Indian lentil soup. The spices are roasted and ground together to create a flavourful and aromatic masala. Vruj Sambhar masala adds a unique flavour and depth to the dish, enhancing the taste of the lentils and vegetables. It typically has a slightly tangy, slightly spicy and earthy taste.
Apart from sambhar, sambhar masala can also be used in various other South Indian dishes like rasam (a tangy soup), upma (a savory semolina dish), and various vegetable curries.
Step 2 : Add 2 tbsp. of thick tamarind juice, salt and 2tbsp of Vruj Sambhar Masala. For tadka heat 3tbsp of oil, add 2tsp mustard seeds, 5 curry leaves, 2 dry chilies, pinch of Vruj Hing (Asafetida) Powder.
Step 3 : Add this tadka todal mixture, add water if required. Boil for 2 mins and serve hot.
